The ceramic interchangeable tip A72MZ by ideal-tek is a high-quality tweezer with a tip made of Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA), an advanced ceramic blend that offers an excellent combination of zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide. This material is characterized by high strength, excellent hardness, and low density without open porosity. The surface of the tip is extremely hard, providing good abrasion and wear resistance, as well as impressive bending strength and fracture toughness.
The thermal properties are also remarkable with high temperature stability up to 1400°C and a shock resistance of 325°C. Additionally, the tip is electrically insulating with a volume resistance of over 1012 Ω and a hardness of 1700 HV according to Vickers.
The straight, fine, and pointed shape of the ceramic tip with a width of 6.5 mm and a tip width of only 0.3 mm at a thickness of 0.25 mm makes it ideal for precise applications such as soldering processes and handling components in thermal and chemical processes, where stiff tips are required. The total length is 45 mm and the weight is a light 3 g. Ideal for applications where precision and durability are paramount.
