The ceramic interchangeable tip A74MZ from ideal-tek is a high-quality tweezer with a tip made of Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA), a combination of zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide, known for its high strength and hardness. This tweezer is characterized by its low density, lack of open porosity, and an extremely hard surface that provides excellent abrasion and wear resistance. The tip has good bending strength and fracture toughness, as well as excellent thermal properties and stability up to 1400°C, making it ideal for use in soldering processes and handling components under thermal and chemical conditions.
The tip is electrically insulating and corrosion-resistant, with a shock resistance of 325°C and a volume resistance over 10¹² Ω. It is fine, pointed, and strong, with a width of 9.0 mm and a tip width of 1.0 mm at a thickness of 0.5 mm. The length of the tip is 55 mm, the height is 2.5 mm, and it weighs 6 g.
