The KNIPEX 920879 assembly tweezers are a high-precision tool specifically designed for gripping, holding, inserting, and pulling cylindrical components with a diameter ranging from 3.5 mm to a maximum of 5.0 mm. These tweezers are made from high-quality chrome/nickel steel, which is both stainless and antimagnetic to prevent electromagnetic damage to sensitive electronic components.
The tips of the tweezers are straight and have a non-glare brushed finish, while the gripping surfaces are smooth and the handle surfaces are ridged to ensure optimal grip. The tweezers are also coated with black epoxy, providing a surface resistance of between 10^3 and 10^9 Ohm, thus complying with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The total length of the tweezers is 122 mm with a weight of only 15 g, making them lightweight and easy to handle. Their antimagnetic properties and ESD-safe coating make them ideal for use in electronic assembly, particularly for through-hole or insertion mounting.
