Replacement exchangeable tips A242CF

The Ideal-Tek A242CF replacement tweezer tip is a high-quality component for precision work in sensitive environments. Made in Switzerland, this set includes two carbon fiber tips and three screws, specifically designed for the Type 242CF tweezers. The tips are made from an ESD-capable plastic, reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, which not only provides excellent mechanical strength and stiffness but also ensures superior wear and abrasion resistance.
The tips are heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and can withstand temperatures up to 190°C for short periods. The very low linear coefficient of thermal expansion and good chemical resistance to oils, fats, and nonpolar solvents make them particularly suitable for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates in areas of micromechanics and electronics assembly.
The tips are straight, fine, 40 mm long, 8.0 mm wide, and weigh only 1 gram. They offer an optimal solution for applications where scratch resistance and precision are required. However, note that the tips are not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
