Self-adjusting crimping pliers with square crimping
The self-adjusting crimping tool from KNIPEX offers an efficient solution for standard-compliant crimping of ferrules up to 16 mm². This tool automatically adjusts to the respective ferrule size, enabling quick and precise crimping. It meets the standards DIN 46228 Part 1 + 4 and is UL-approved in combination with KNIPEX ferrules 97 99 330 - 399.
The tool guarantees consistently high crimp quality through its unlockable forced lock. The crimping pressure is precisely calibrated at the factory. Additional force amplification through toggle lever mechanics supports fatigue-free operation.
The ergonomic design, a small grip span, and lightweight make handling particularly comfortable. Made from specially alloyed chrome-vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, the tool measures 180 mm in length, 77 mm in width, and 21 mm in height, weighing 459 g. It is also suitable for twin ferrules up to 2 x 4 mm² or 2 x AWG 12 and features a square crimp.
