The ESD wire stripping pliers 3894 Ecotronic by CK are specifically designed for precise and damage-free stripping of insulated solid wires, where protection against electrostatic discharge is of utmost importance. These pliers are suitable for all common types of wire insulation and offer six preset blade pairs for wire diameters from 0.4 to 1.3 mm (16–26 AWG).
The blades made of hardened special tool steel guarantee long-lasting performance. An integrated scissor allows for cutting soft copper wires up to a diameter of 3 mm or 8 AWG strands. The tip of the pliers is equipped with serrated points that facilitate the gripping and wrapping of wires.
The handles are electrostatically discharging and provide high working comfort with their contoured two-component design. A locking mechanism secures the blade pairs in a closed position, while the black oxidized surface offers corrosion resistance and reduced glare. A gently acting return spring supports comfortable working during repeated operations. The pliers measure 152 mm in length with a jaw length of 49 mm and a head width of 28 mm.
