ESD Light duty swivel castor with top plate 550, load capacity 110 kg, heavy version
This heavy-duty ESD caster from the 550 series is characterized by its high load capacity of 100 kg and a mounting plate measuring 77 x 67 mm. The steel sheet housing is robust and galvanized, ensuring a long lifespan, and features thread guards that prevent the ingress of dirt and fibers. The wheel is equipped with a polypropylene wheel body that runs on a ball bearing, and has electrically conductive rubber tires in black. The tread of the wheel is also made of rubber, ensuring electrical conductivity and compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The wheel width is 32 mm and the diameter of the wheel is 125 mm. The hardness of the rubber tread is about 85 Shore A, offering a good balance between hardness and elasticity. The bolt hole spacing varies between 38 x 46 mm, and the wheel axle is bolted, allowing for easy maintenance. Note that plasticizer migration can cause discoloration of the floor. This unbraked caster wheel is ideal for use in areas where electrostatic discharge poses a risk.
